Britain remained the greatest magnet for EU migrants even after other countries opened their doors to workers from Eastern Europe, according to latest official figures yesterday.

The UK continued to draw in more than any other country in 2011, when citizens of Poland and fellow eastern nations finally won the right to work in Germany and other wealthy EU nations.

The UK accepted 566,044 immigrants, compared to 489,422 who went to Germany, according to Eurostat.

The EU statistics arm added that the number coming to this country was twice that who went to France estimated at just 267,400.

Net migration is the rise or fall in population after both immigration and emigration have been counted.

The promise would mean halving the latest published rates of net migration for the year to June 2013, which show an 182,000 increase.

Immigration into Britain hit record highs after 2004, when Poland and seven other Eastern European countries joined the EU.

They were given immediate freedom to work in Britain without restrictions by Tony Blairs government.

Only Ireland and Sweden did the same, with the result that more than a million Eastern Europeans came to work in this country while few took jobs in other major EU economies.

Germany and others followed Brussels rules and only opened their labour markets to citizens of the Eastern countries seven years after they joined the EU.

However, according to Eurostat, although Poles and other Eastern workers did flood into Germany, its immigration totals stayed below those of Britain.

The UK reported the largest number of immigrants in 2011, followed by Germany, Spain, and Italy. These four member states together accounted for 60.3 per cent of immigrants to EU states, its report said.

Migration to Germany went up from 346,200 in 2009 to close to half-a-million two years later.

Latest British figures show 503,000 immigrants arrived in the 12 months to June last year.

Eurostat also said that Britain gave citizenship to 177,600 immigrants in 2011 more than any other EU country.

Since 2007, the UK has also been the destination of workers escaping the economic crises in Spain, Greece, Portugal and Italy.

However, Spain still attracts high numbers from Spanish-speaking Latin America who march straight through and into the EU, Spain is the unprotected gateway by which millions are coming into the EU, we need out of this mess as quickly as possible.

EXCLUSIVE: New data shows the local cost of a decade of EU-fuelled migration
THE impact of a decade of EU-fuelled migration on Britains regions has been revealed.

Figures show the areas where more than 2.3 million Eastern European migrants have settled since 2002.

Britains 1.2 million Polish immigrants live mainly in north London, Edinburgh and Birmingham, while Lithuanians head for East Anglia and Slovaks to northern cities.

While the Welsh border attracts Romanians and Bulgarians, Manchester has become home to the UKs biggest Czech community.

The Government figures yesterday prompted fury at years of EU migration.

Ukips Tim Aker said: These astonishingly high numbers show how both Labour and the Conservatives have given away control of our borders.

Its time we left the EU to retake control of our borders so we can have a properly managed immigration system, as opposed to the free-for-all we have now.

These astonishingly high numbers show how both Labour and the Conservatives have given away control of our borders.

Tim Aker

Department of Work and Pensions records show 229,000 National Insurance numbers were given to Eastern Europeans in 2013 higher than any other year since 2008. The figures do not cover criminals, who do not intend to pay tax.

The UK is a magnet for migrants because of its job opportunities and the soft-touch benefits system.

Outside of London boroughs like Ealing, Brent and Haringey, 25,000 Poles live in Edinburgh, 19,000 in Birmingham and 16,000 have gathered in Luton.

The second largest group, at 256,000, Lithuanians can be found in the agricultural areas of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

Slovaks have congregated in Bradford, Sheffield and Derby, while Manchester now has 3,000 Czechs.

Herefordshire is favoured by Romanians and Bulgarians.

However, the figures do not include the huge influx from the two states since January, when visa restrictions on them were dropped.

Don't be fooled by a tiny drop in EU migration figures
THE metropolitan political establishment is crowing with self-satisfaction.
By: Leo McKinstry
Published: Thu, May 15, 2014

EU, migration figures, Bulgaria, Romania, Britain, UK, European UnionBulgarian migrants arriving at Sofia bus station to leave for other countries [REX]

The reason for this orgy of self-congratulation is the release of official new immigration figures which show a tiny recent drop in the number of Bulgarians and Romanians settling here.

According to the Labour Force Survey, 140,000 people from those two eastern European countries were living in Britain during the first three months of this year, a fall of 4,000 compared to the last quarter of 2013.

The reduction has prompted so much gloating in fashionable Left-wing circles because there had been predictions that the numbers coming here would rise dramatically when the EU lifted all restrictions on movement from Bulgaria and Romania at the beginning of the year.

Members of the pro-immigration brigade now try to outdo each other in sneering at their opponents. The figures "give the lie to Ukip scaremongering", declare the Lib Dems, whose enthusiasm both for the EU and mass immigration remains unabated despite deepening unpopularity.

But all this preening over a single statistic shows the complete self-delusion of the metropolitan elite

The "supposed flood" has turned out "to be little more than a trickle," says Labour's Keith Vaz, Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee. One Romanian activist even demanded "an apology" from anti-EU campaigners, claiming that they had created a combustible atmosphere where "we have seen petrol bomb attacks. We have seen pipe bomb attacks". Really? That language sounds far more alarmist than anything Ukip have come up with recently.

But all this preening over a single statistic shows the complete self-delusion of the metropolitan elite. They are trying to put an absurdly favourable spin on statistics that actually contradict their case.

The reality is that immigration remains out of control, our borders as porous as ever. Far from declining, the long-term influx of migrants from Bulgaria and Romania is on the rise.

As the Labour Force Survey demonstrates, the total of 140,000 Bulgarians and Romanians living here represents an increase of almost 30,000 on the same period in 2013. Compared to the first quarter of 2012, the number has gone up by 44 per cent.

When the independent think tank Migration Watch forecast an annual influx to Britain of 50,000 over each of the next five years, it was accused of lurid exaggeration. But these new figures are exactly in line with that prediction.

Any liberal complacency should be blown apart by a look at the wider statistics on immigration beyond merely Bulgaria and Romania. So the number of workers from all EU countries in Britain has risen by no less than 10.6 per cent in the past year, reaching 1.747 million, while the total of non-UK workers currently stands at an incredible 4.544 million.

That puts all the hollow liberal celebrations of a 4,000 drop into perspective. There can be no dispute that we are living through a social revolution transforming the very fabric of Britain, even though the electorate never voted for this upheaval.

The scale of the change would have been unthinkable to previous generations. In 1940 there were just 238,000 foreign nationals living in Britain, less than half the current influx every single year.

The idea that mass immigration has been stemmed at all is absurd, as can be seen in tremendous pressure on our civic infrastructure.

It is due to continuing soaring immigration that our urban primary schools are packed, that hospital A&E units are grossly overstretched and that appointments for GPs have become such a struggle.

Mass immigration also helps to explain why so many British people feel threatened by crime. More than 13 per cent of the jail population are foreigners, while according to the Metropolitan Police almost one third of all Romanians living in London have been arrested in the past five years.

The diversity cheerleaders tell us that mass immigration is vital to our economy, since foreigners supposedly do the work that too many British people won't.

This is just more empty propaganda. In fact plenty of migrants come here to sponge off our lavish welfare system. At present there are more than 405,000 non-UK nationals of working age who live here and claim benefits, with no fewer than 106,000 of them from EU countries.

AMONG the migrant freeloaders is the notorious Firuta Vasile, a Big Issue seller from Romania who in 2012 took a successful legal action to ensure that she was paid 28,000 a year in welfare benefits. One study found that one third of Big Issue sellers are from Romania, some using the magazine as a ruse to gain self-employed status and access to social security.

It is remarkable that Left-wingers are such supporters of mass immigration given that it is the British working class that has suffered most from the change. The wealthy might benefit from foreign nannies and plumbers but too many British find their jobs taken and their living standards driven down by cheap, imported labour.

That is precisely why Labour is haemorrhaging support to Ukip, the one major party promising a crackdown on immigration.

As Ukip argues, we can only regain control of our borders and put the needs of the British public first if we leave the EU. Under the rule of Brussels, mass immigration will continue at its present destructive level.

British security on alert as migrants aim to live like a king in the UK
BRITAIN has stepped up patrols at a migrant camp in Calais as the numbers there reach crisis point.
By: Giles Sheldrick in Calais
Published: Tue, August 12, 2014

It seems millions have read the governments advertisement to come to the UK

More than 2,000 people are now crowded in, most of them desperate to reach the UK.

Meanwhile, the deputy mayor of the port wants the French border moved to Dover for one month to make the British understand the sheer scale of the problem faced by his town every day.

There is such alarm at the growing numbers of migrants using Calais as a base to make a bolt across the Channel that a Home Office source said physical security has been increased and beefed up.

The tent city is home to those from countries including Syria, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia.

Many fight to stow away on lorries bound for Britain each night. French officials say the town is overrun because the UK is a land where the penniless could live like kings.

The word about easy-to-obtain benefits and paradise conditions for migrant families has spread to the worlds poorest countries. It is estimated there have been 12,000 attempts to cross the UK border via Calais in the past year.

The lure of a new life across the Channel has seen families live in unimaginable squalor at the camp in woods near the port. Numbers are swelling by the day.

Calais deputy mayor Philippe Mignonet said: We want the border to be moved from Calais to Dover and Folkestone for one month so Britain understands how difficult the problem is. We are not asking for immigration in Calais.

We are taking action at a national and international level to tackle this issue and the organised criminality behind it

James Brokenshire, Immigration and Security minister

Why is England so attractive for migrants? In their original countries people are saying that if you go to England you will have everything a house, money, a job; your family will be able to join you. Right or wrong, it is what is said. They might leave with three pounds but, when they arrive in England they can make 50-a-week on the black market, so they are happy they are kings.

The bottleneck here is caused because England is too attractive, too easy. They have nothing to lose except their lives.

Inside the camp, men, women and malnourished children live on top of each other in tarpaulin tents with no running water.

The clamour for the front of the queue when the nightly scramble begins to sneak on to lorries bound for England means violent clashes often erupt.

There is evidence organised crime gangs are operating in the port town, promising desperate families safe passage to Britain.

Ukip MEP Stephen Woolfe said: The chaos and uncertainty created by the EUs unsustainable borders policy means Calais has to deal with a situation not of its making.

It is unfair to those in the camps that they are encouraged to come to Europe, and eventually to the UK, due to the weakness of our migration policy.

After all, given conditions in their own countries it is hardly a surprise they want to make a better life.

But is not the responsibility of the UK taxpayer to fund all those who wish to come here. There will never be enough in the bank.

Earlier this year, the Daily Express revealed at least 30 migrants made a bolt for Britain every night.

Last night the Home Office, responsible for policing Britains borders, said: We have bolstered security in Calais, upgraded technology and equipment and are increasing joint intelligence work with the French.

Immigration and Security Minister James Brokenshire, said: Illegal migration is a European-wide problem. We are taking action at a national and international level to tackle this issue and the organised criminality behind it.

Security at the UK border is our priority and we will continue to strengthen it to stop those who have no right to enter the UK.

Does that include all the members of the so called peaceful religion of Islam?

Fury as number of Romanians and Bulgarians in Britain soars after border controls lifted
FRESH anger over Britain's border controls erupted last night after new figures showed that the number of Romanian and Bulgarian migrants working in Britain soared by 15 per cent last year.
Published: 16:04, Wed, February 18, 2015
By Scott Campbell & Macer Hall

There are now 1.9 million people from the European Union working in Britain

Some 172,000 people from Bulgaria and Romania were working in Britain in the last three months of 2014, up 22,000 on the same period the previous year, the Office for National Statistics said.

On January 1 2014 the restrictions on nationals from the two countries coming to the UK to work were lifted.

Experts estimate 350,000 people will flock to Britain over the next seven years after immigration controls on the two newest European Union members were relaxed.

The total number of workers in Britain from the European Union rose to 1.9 million in the same period from 1.7 million - a rise of 200,000.

Last year, the Daily Express led a crusade against the easing of border controls with the two former Eastern Bloc states and delivered a petition to Downing Street signed by more than 150,000 readers.

Alp Mehmet, the vice-chairman of the pressure group Migration Watch, said: "Today's figures show that 70% of the increase in the foreign born workforce over the past year has come from the EU.
What we really need is a census on how many people there are in the UK NOW-------but our government has suspended anymore census in case the public find out that there are nearer 80 million (of which 6 million are muslims) in the UK at the moment-------------how do i know------5 years ago there was 72 million active national insurance numbers-------and yet the government says there is only 62 million people here now--------------how many people have 2 national insurance numbers?

Immigrants are 'stealing jobs' and Muslims are 'taking over' the country, young believe
RESEARCH by Show Racism The Red Card has revealed many young people have negative attitudes to immigration as they believe foreign-born workers are "stealing jobs" and Muslims are "taking over" the country,
By Alix Culbertson
PUBLISHED: 04:49, Wed, May 20, 2015 | UPDATED: 11:21, Wed, May 20, 2015

Many youngsters believe there are more immigrants than there are

It suggests misconceptions about migration and other cultures are rife, fuelled by distorted views about the number of immigrants living in the UK.

The study, conducted by Show Racism The Red Card, found that more than one in four (28 per cent) of the almost 6,000 pupils questioned believe that jobs being taken by foreign workers might stop them reaching their goals.

And more than a third (35 per cent) agreed or partly agreed with the statement "Muslims are taking over England".

The research was part of a two-year programme by the charity - which uses top footballers to educate against racism - designed to combat the influence of far-right groups on young people.

It surveyed 10 to 16-year-olds in 60 schools across England who took part in anti-racism workshops between April 2012 and April 2014.

Youngsters overestimated the number of foreign-born people living in the UK, suggesting that around 47 per cent were born overseas.

In reality, 2011 census data indicates the actual figure is around 13 per cent, the charity said.

One youngster told researchers: "Immigrants take jobs and make the country over-crowded."

Another said: "When we get older lots of jobs will be taken up by foreigners."

And perceptions are getting worse - of the 3,362 youngsters who answered the survey between April and November 2012, nearly half (49 per cent) agreed that migration to the UK is out of control or not being managed properly.

Of the 2,638 who were polled between November 2012 and April last year, an astonishing 60 per cent believed it was true that "asylum seekers and immigrants are stealing our jobs".

Immigrants take jobs and make the country over-crowded

The study did find that when asked how they would describe what it means to be British to someone from another country, many of the answers young people gave were positive, highlighting areas such as the NHS, the education system, freedom of thought and even the weather.

It also reveals that many youngsters have concerns about the future, with 35 per cent of all of those surveyed saying they do not think they will achieve their potential at school, and 40 per cent saying they do not believe they will have enough, or earn enough money in the future.

Over two in five (43 per cent) think that there is a lack of work opportunities, the study found, while "jobs" was the most used phrase by young people when asked about the negative aspects of living in a multicultural country.

This indicates a concern among young people about securing a job in the future and a belief that immigration is a key factor for this, the charity suggested.

Ged Grebby, chief executive of Show Racism The Red Card, said: "This data provides an evidence base which supports our experience in recent years working with young people throughout the UK; the presence of fears and misconceptions about issues of immigration, Islamophobia and 'Britishness'.

"Through Show Racism The Red Card's work in schools we have found that there is a large amount of negativity when young people are asked questions about 'immigration' or 'Muslims'. This survey shows that this is fuelled by a totally distorted view of the number of immigrants and Muslims in the UK.

"It is only once we acknowledge the existence of these attitudes and identify the influences at work that we can deliver the right kind of educational interventions to help build the capacity to resist racist ideas and attitudes among young people."

Even the children can see what is going on now----------how long before we can throw this poisonous pagan moon cult out of our country--------not long now that the kids know they will have no future while they are here

PETER HITCHENS: How long before the police stop investigating murder?

At least our state-school system maintains schools, terrible as many of them are. The NHS, creaky as it is, still treats actual patients.

And in the dear dead days of big nationalised industries, British Coal dug actual coal, British Steel made actual steel, and the same was true of the gas and electricity boards.

But the police force now cant even be bothered to turn up and investigate burglaries, and its chief spokesperson openly says so.

For the first time we now have a huge and expensive nationalised industry that does not do what it says on the label.

The police do not police, as we understand the word. They are busy doing something else, as you will find if you ever try to speak to them. I am not sure what it is.

I discovered this nasty fact many years ago, the night some vandals put a stone through my front window, and I chased after and caught them.

I had to let them go. The sheer hilarious uselessness of the police on that occasion, their general absence, their pitiful excuses for not coming to my aid when urgently asked (we couldnt find you, the officers didnt know the area) alerted me to a problem Id until then been only dimly aware of.

I ended up writing a book about it, gasping with growing amazement as I found out from the archives what had happened to a body I used to trust and admire.

I have to say here that many of the police officers I meet or talk to are perfectly decent men and women (though a minority are not, as recent figures of criminal convictions show). Its just that the police force itself is now trading falsely on a name and reputation it earned in another time.

Youll find this out if ever you actually need them. In the meantime, how many warnings do you want? I have to say that the statement by Sara Thornton, head of the National Police Chiefs Council, that if youve had a burglary, for example, and the burglar has fled, we wont get there as quickly as we have in the past is a pretty clear indication of how things really stand.

Im not sure how quickly that actually was, as it happens. Car break-ins long ago went on the polices ignore if you possibly can list, along with drug possession, littering, shoplifting, vandalism, disorderly drunkenness, public swearing, driving while texting or phoning, and a hundred other things they no longer think are their affair. And, as if by some miracle, once the police stop bothering with these offences, fiddled figures claim that they are not happening any more, and the magistrates courts are being closed for lack of business. Well I never.

Dont be surprised if, in 20 years time, homicide goes the same way. To save time and trouble, itll be recorded as something else (murder is already often downgraded to manslaughter to save time and trouble), and people watching old episodes of Inspector Morse will wonder why anyone is making such a fuss over a dead body.

Once upon a time, I would have minded. Now I just laugh. But, be warned: like other nationalised industries, the police will act swiftly and decisively if you dare to challenge their monopoly. If you are foolish enough to defend your own home against burglary, expect to be arrested, fingerprinted, DNA-swabbed and probably charged. They wouldnt want the idea catching on that we could manage without them.

Its all part of the plan by our Dictator Camerloon to make sure you dont get sent to prison for any crimes we know you will commit here

It seems that the whole of the middle east has decided to come and live off the backs of the Europeans, what is it now this year alone over 1 million and they are arriving at 20,000 per day into Austria----------- but the Germans and Austrian patriots are burning down the shelters built to house these invaders, and that is what they are invaders coming to breed out the Europeans and take over their countries while at the same time getting their victims to work for them.
What i cannot understand is why the people are allowing this to happen----------is it part of the Coudenhove-Kalergi plan which has been speeded up because of the threat of the UK leaving the EUSSR ? so that they want to swamp Europe before the people wake up to what is happening?
I think when people wake up and start doing something about it all those in power will end up swinging from lamposts, it will be the end of the EUSSR and people will get their country, laws and borders back.
The muslims will be deported lock ,stock and mosque, if not their will be blood on the streets and im thinking the majority of it will be theirs. It will continue until there is not one follower of this poisonous pagan moon cult left in Europe which will end terrorism and free up housing, schools , hospitals for the local people.

Thousands RIOT after officials threaten to build asylum centre in tiny town in Netherlands
By Scott Campbell & Selina Sykes
Thu, Dec 17, 2015 | UPDATED: 08:17, Thu, Dec 17, 2015

Police fired warning shots in a bid to disperse the crowd in Geldermalsen, Netherlands where 2,000 people joined the protest.

Pictures and videos of the incident showed dozens of youths tearing down fences, throwing beer bottles and fireworks at police, and chanting slogans against the proposed centre for asylum-seekers in the town of 27,000.

A spokesman said officers had "so far made numerous arrests, it's is not clear yet how many". No serious injuries were reported.

A meeting of the town's council to decide on whether to build the centre to house 1,500 asylum-seekers had to be halted.

In dramatic scenes the meeting was evacuated by shouting policemen as rioters sought to force their way into the building.

Police said late on Wednesday that the crowd had still not dispersed and officers were sporadically being pelted with debris.

They said the meeting would not be resumed and called on protesters to leave the town centre.

Police sealed off the town hall but protestors pelted the building with bottles, bricks and fireworks. Several windows were smashed.
Riot police arrived in 15 minibuses to deal with the unrest.

Two police officers were slightly injured in the clashes and at least 14 arrests have been made, according to a local newspaper.

Explosives experts were reportedly deployed to deal with a large firework which had not exploded.

Police restored calm at around 10.30pm. Local residents have said the troublemakers were not from Geldermalsen.

Local mayor Miranda de Vries tweeted that everybody in the meeting hall was safe, adding that she was saddened by the incident.

She posted on Twitter: people say they are frightened of asylum seekers. I am very very sad about this.

The incident was the biggest display of anti-migrant sentiment in the Netherlands since hooligans attacked a Syrian refugee centre in October.

Deputy Justice Minister Klaas Dijkhoff, who oversees immigration and asylum policy, called the incident in Geldermalsen "un-Dutch."

He said: This is not how we deal with each other in the Netherlands. This is unheard of.

The arrival of thousands of refugees in the Netherlands as part of the influx of arrivals in Europe has stirred tensions between hard-line opponents and those welcoming migrants.

European countries are struggling to cope with the largest movement of migrants since World War Two, many of them Syrians who have come via Turkey, Greece and the Balkans.

When will we in the UK be fighting the police as they are doing in Holland--------the police in this country are becoming the enemies of the people and are not liked when they protect the invading muslims against their own people------even the judges let them off with rape and every other crime you can mention with a slap on the wrist--------in any war the first to go against the wall are those who have kept the people down and not listened to them---------politicians, lawyers, police -----------they will reap what they have sown

6,000 Invader Incidents Per Day
February 8, 2016 by TNO Staff in Europe

Nonwhite invaders in Germany are responsible for in excess of 6,000 incidentsmost of them criminalto which police are called out every day, according to an extrapolation of figures secretly compiled by the authorities in the state of Saxony.

secret-report

According to a report in the Schsische Zeitung, the German police in that state are keeping a record of all the incidentsin secretand deliberately not releasing the figures to the press or the public.

The report, leaked to the newspaper by a whistle-blower in the police, revealed that nonwhite invaders posing as refugees are responsible for around 400 crimes per day in the state of Saxony alone.

If replicated throughout Germanys sixteen federal statesand there is no reason to think that they are notthis means that there are likely in excess of 6,000 such incidents every day right throughout Germany.

According to the Schsische Zeitung, the list of incidents is compiled on a daily basis and sent to the German Interior ministrybut withheld from the public.

Using the invader center in Riesa, Saxony, as an example, the Schsische Zeitung said the building housing the nonwhites had been used as asylum accommodation for more than two years.

The paper goes on to say that since then, there has been no news from the police about any incidents in the invader center, and from that, one might have presumed that a smooth coexistence goes on there. However, this is apparently not the case, the report continues.

The Schsische Zeitung then lists the incidents which have taken place at the invader center, all noted down in the internal memorandum.

The list of attacks includes serious injuries, fights, knife attacks, robberies, and sex abuse, all of which, the report says, involved asylum seekers.

When asked why none of the incidents had been made public, the police said that they had orders only to respond to specific queries. In other words, someone else must first know about it, before the police will confirm that it happened.

Four cases in particular serve as examples of the police cover-up, the Schsische Zeitung reports. They were a fight between invaders at the asylum center, two robberies in nearby Dresden, and one case of child abuse, all of which occurred in a single 24-hour period and all linked to the invader center in Riesa.

Only one of the two robberies was reported to the public by the police, the Schsische Zeitung said. This was a case in Dresden last Tuesday evening when three Moroccan asylum seekers attacked a Tunisian, severely beating him and robbing him of a cell phone and wallet.

A similar case which occurred five hours later in Dresden Neustadt by several Tunisians remained unmentioned, the Schsische Zeitung said.

In addition, a sex abuse case of a six-year-old boy by a Syrian on a train also remained unreported, despite several witnesses. According to the secret police report, a 44-year-old nonwhite invader had grabbed the child from behind and kissed him on the mouth. He had only stopped when another passenger intervened.

The police had not reported the incident, the Schsische Zeitung said, because after his arrest and when under interrogation, he claimed that it was a cultural misunderstanding because that was how they greeted children in his country, and that in future he would just pat children on the head.

This police policy of deliberate non-reporting unless they get a specific press query has the practical effect of stifling any reports of the invader crime wave, and only letting the most public of such attacks even make the police press statements.

The Schsische Zeitung went on to say that, with 300 to 400 operations per day involving the asylum seekers, the police in Saxony had to choose which to make public and which would not be relevant.
