Damning: Lord Tebitt accused the Prime Minister of relying on advisers 'without any experience or much understanding of the party or indeed politics'
David Cameron has been accused of leading a 'government of chums,' in a scathing attack by Lord Tebitt.

The former Tory chairman warned that Downing Streets handling of last week's 'cash for access' row and the fuel strike panic, have reinforced the view that the Prime Minister was 'born into privilege.'

Mr Cameron is undergoing the most turbulent period of his premiership and the stinging criticism will no doubt be a further blow as it was revealed yesterday his personal rating the difference between the number of voters who think he is doing a good job and those who do not plunged to -27 in the latest YouGov poll.
Writing in The Times, the former party chairman accused the Prime Minister of relying on advisers 'without any experience or much understanding of the party or indeed politics.'

Lord Tebbit says that Mr Cameron's carefully orchestrated public relation idiot opportunities such as cycling to work and not wearing a tie to black tie dinners will not make voters forget his background of wealth and privilege.

He also said in the newspaper that senior figures in the Tory Party 'had their paths lubricated with money from cradle to school, to university and on through public relations and Westminster village bag-carrying.'

Meanwhile George Osborne, the Chancellor, is also under mounting pressure from backbenchers with certain MPs raising questions about the way Mr Cameron and Mr Osborne run the Coalition.

The Daily Telegraph reported that MPs have identified four areas where they believe Mr Cameron should make changes to, to ensure he does not lose the party's vision.

They include explaining policies more clearly to voters, especially those in key marginal seats and that Mr Osborne should terminate his dual role as both Chancellor and head of Conservative political strategy.

Other suggestions include the idea that a senior MP should be appointed as full-time Conservative Party chairman, ending the current arrangement where the job is shared by two peers and to halt the idea of a Government dominated by wealthy public schoolboys, this year's ministerial reshuffle should ensure more working class and northern MPs are promoted.

The newspaper reported that at a private meeting last week with members of the 1922 Committee, Mr Cameron was instructed to make swift changes to increase the party's chances at the next election of a full majority.

The 1922 Committee is made up of a group of backbench Conservative MPs elected by their peers and several members told Mr Cameron he must he must change the way he presides over his party as well as rethinking his position on controversial policies such as gay marriage.

Mishandled: Lord Tebitt warned that Downing Street's handling of last week's 'cash for access' row and the fuel strike panic, have reinforced the view that the Prime Minister was 'born into privilege'
Robert Halfon MP, a member of the 1922 executive, said the Government needed to concentrate on gaining support among low-income workers, whose votes decide the result in many marginal seats.

Mr Cameron was also told by four members of the executive that he needed staff who could communicate with working class voters, that read tabloids.

Nadine Dorries, a backbench MP, attacked Mr Osborne for being out of touch with working class voters.

'At the root of much of the catastrophe we have become is George Osborne. He drives the liberal elite agenda,' she told The Daily Telegraph.

She said people view the modern Conservative party as no longer aligned with their views and values and they are 'repelled by the elitism.'
Another member of the 1992 executive, Mark Pritchard, said Mr Cameron should hold an early reshuffle to promote more ministers from state schools and working-class homes.

'The reshuffle needs to be brought forward, not delayed, to make the government a little less foie gras and a little more fish and chips,' he said reported The Telegraph.

Meanwhile the fallout from the 'cash for access' row continued at the weekend as disgraced Tory treasurer Peter Cruddas bankrolled an event at the Prime Ministers official country residence and claims to have met David Cameron at more than a dozen private events, it has emerged.

Scandal: Disgraced Peter Cruddas , pictured left with Prime Minister David Cameron MP, was forced to resign over his 'cash-for-access' boasts
Mr Cruddas forced to quit his post over the cash-for-access scandal last week told undercover investigators he met Mr Cameron for dinner 13 times at private events, often held at luxury homes of the rich and powerful.
He also hosted a dinner for the Prime Minister on his birthday and served Samantha Cameron a curry at a charity event.

The revelations made to reporters posing as potential donors highlight his close relationship with Mr Cameron, despite the Premiers attempts to portray Mr Cruddas as a minor player in the party.

Last week Mr Cameron said: Peter Cruddas has never recommended anyone to come to dinner in my flat, nor has he been to dinner there himself.

But at the weekend it emerged Mr Cruddas did, however, meet him at other social occasions that were not listed by No 10 last week, including at a meal at the home of art dealer Ivor Bakra.

Yesterday it emerged that Mr Cruddas had told undercover journalists that he had hosted a dinner in Londons Belgrave Square on the Prime Ministers birthday.

Connected: Peter Cruddas claimed to have direct access to David Cameron on at least 13 occasions - even bankrolling a dinner at the Prime Minister's country retreat of Chequers, pictured
He also said he had served a Ruby Murray curry to Mrs Cameron at a charity event at Chequers. This event was listed by the Tories but there was no reference to the Conservative treasurers presence.

A Downing Street source again tried to play down the significance of the meetings. The source said: There was a curry served for dinner. This was a massive event in a marquee.

We took the view that if you named every donor you would put them off donating in the future. It was a massive event and raised substantial amounts for Mencap [1million]. We make no apology for that.

Mr Cruddas had not had a private dinner at Chequers or Downing Street but it would have been very strange if he had not met Mr Cameron on other occasions, the source said.

But Labour called on Mr Cameron to come clean on all meetings with donors irrespective of where they took place.

Mr Cameron also faced separate questions about a fundraising group meeting at No 10.

Party chairman Lord Feldman and Mr Cameron held a meeting last year with the chairman of the Conservative Foundation, Lord Hesketh, who was sacked at the meeting.

The meeting could have breached the Ministerial Code, which states: Facilities provided to ministers at government expense to enable them to carry out their official duties should not be used for party or constituency work.

But a No 10 source said: We accept that the meeting took place but this was not a Conservative Foundation meeting in Downing Street.

Good people of the land. Please remember one thing. WE ARE GOVERNED BY CONSENT. IT IS OUR RIGHT TO REMOVE CONSENT. TAXES ARE NOT LAWFUL AND DO NOT NEED TO BE PAID BY LAW. If you do one thing today, investigate your RIGHTS as a freeman on the land. youtube, wiki, or just do a search. We are the power. NOT the government. We can and should send them packing or better still prosecute THEM and take back what is ours by birthright. YOU ARE OWNED AND IN SLAVERY AND YOU HAVE AGREED TO IT.
