Integration - or isolation?

Were you unfortunate enough to live in a hostile, barren land, constantly oppressed by your brutal and barbaric neighbours, you might very well grab an opportunity to abandon the cesspit of your ancestors and make a new life in a new land that is neither hostile nor barren.
Indeed, far from being brutal and barbaric, your host nation bids you welcome and bestows upon you gifts and benefits that hitherto had been such things as dreams are made on.
Having been so fortunate as to find yourself thus blessed, would you embrace the standards and culture of your hosts - or would you seek to recreate the aforementioned cesspit wheresoever you came to rest?
Indeed, would you do as in Rome - or would you reject all that your hosts stand for and hold sacred, and isolate yourself and your family by establishing a colony of fellow former slum dwellers in the new squalor you have created in the very image of the one you used to know?
Having rejected your hosts' way of life and living, and having recreated the medieval world you were so intent on escaping from, would you then reject the host's schools lest your children become influenced in any way by the world that is going on around them; the world you allegedly sought to be part of?
Or even better - might you contrive to take those schools over so as to ensure standards of education are limited to those of a few hundred years or so ago?
Would you ever mingle with the 'natives'; might you obtain joy and delight from all the fresh things and experiences available to you - or would you seek to turn your back on everything associated with the host, and seek to isolate your own sub-culture and sub-economy within?
Would you seize whole tranches of land from your benefactors and effectively exclude them from it, allowing nothing to penetrate therein - social security hand-outs aside?

Would you then extend your isolation to one of financial exclusion, so as to bring ever more revenue into your sub-economy so that it becomes 'locked-in'?
Would you put into place a practice of only selling to, and never buying from, your hosts?
Would you ensure that all your day-to-day requirements from the food that you eat to the clothes on you back are sourced either from within your sub-culture or from the land you escaped from? Would you exclusively purchase from your own community, work for members of your own community; employ only people from your own community (even [especially] should they be in receipt of unemployment benefit - or are in the Country illegally).
And would you meticulously conceal the revenue in circulation within that community so as to remain, so far as is possible, outwith your hosts' taxation systems?
What, after all, is the point of them paying you benefits if you then have to pay it back in income tax or VAT? Ridiculous!
And would you continue your isolation by stoically perpetuating a manner dress entrenched within an alien and bygone age, and the language and customs of the deserts from that dark and bygone age?
Are you, in fact, an organism which lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other�s expense?

This is from a well known political site-----------but what it is saying is true-------there are of course a lot more going on with Muslims at the moment the rape and trafficking of our young girls to name but one----------the Scots have just had a referendum, we the ENGLISH want two------one on whether we leave the EU and the other on whether we throw out the terrorist religion called Islam lock stock and mosque from our shores---
